Taiwan opposition party head indicted for corruption
File photo taken in January 2024 shows Ko Wen-je, head of Taiwan's second-largest opposition party, the Taiwan People's Party. The Taipei District Prosecutors Office indicted the former presidential candidate on Dec. 26, on corruption charges, including one related to a shopping center development project during his tenure as Taipei mayor.
