Gaza Death Toll Nears 45,000

The overall death toll since last year rose to 45,338, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Tuesday. A ministry statement added that some 107,764 others were injured in the ongoing assault. Israel has continued a the bloodbath on the Gaza Strip since a Hamas attack on October 7 last year despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.
