Jimmy Carter Dies Aged 100
United States President Jimmy Carter, lower left, addresses a joint session of the US Congress in the US Capitol in Washington, DC 0n September 18, 1978. In his remarks, the President briefed the members and the American people on the talks between Egypt and Israel that resulted in the Camp David Accords. He went on to laud President Anwar Sadat of Egypt and Prime Minister Menachem Begin of Israel for their courage in reaching the historic accords.
