Three People Stabbed, One Boy Dead In Attack At Deli On East 108 Street And 2nd Avenue In East Harlem Manhattan New York City
A 17-year-old boy identified as Carlos Rivas is stabbed and killed, while a 22-year-old man and a 62-year-old man are injured in a stabbing attack at a deli in the area of East 108 Street and 2nd Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan, New York, United States, on January 3, 2025. On Friday evening at approximately 6:13 pm, police receive a 911 call reporting an assault in progress in the vicinity of East 108 Street and 2nd Avenue in East Harlem. Upon arrival, officers locate three people with various injuries from an assault. Carlos Rivas sustains stab wounds to the chest and lower abdomen, a 22-year-old man sustains a stab wound to the left arm, and a 62-year-old man sustains a laceration to the forehead. The 22-year-old man and 62-year-old man are transported to local area hospitals in stable condition. Carlos Rivas is transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem and is later pronounced dead.
