India: M7.1 Earthquake Strikes Tibet-Nepal Border, Shaking Felt In Northern Regions
A powerful magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck the Tibet Autonomous Region in the southwestern part of China near the Nepal border, on Tuesday, January 7, at about 09:05 a.m. local time, according to the USGS.
The quake was also felt in parts of northern India, including Delhi-NCR and Bihar.
