Mt. Fuji height increased after survey

Photo taken in November 2024 from Fujiyoshida in central Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture shows Mt. Fuji, Japan's tallest mountain. The Geospatial Information Authority of Japan said in December 2024 that it has increased the listed height of Mt. Fuji to 3,775 meters, 56 centimeters, taller by 5 centimeters than previously measured, following a satellite survey.
