Woman Shot In The Face With A Crossbow At Her Place Of Employment On Route 46 East In Saddle Brook New Jersey

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Saddle Brook Police Department investigate an attempted homicide involving a crossbow in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, United States, on February 17, 2025. On Monday at approximately 5:55 p.m., the Saddle Brook Police Department responds to a 9-1-1 call reporting a woman seriously injured at her place of employment, a business on Route 46 East in Saddle Brook. Officers find a woman of adult age who has been shot in the face with a crossbow, and the suspect flees the scene prior to police arrival. The victim is transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries and is currently listed in stable condition. Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit are notified, respond to the scene, and initiate a joint investigation with the Saddle Brook Police Department.
