US: Evacuation Order Issued for OC Canyon Communities Due to Mudslide Risk

A mandatory evacuation order was issued for Orange County canyon communities near the Airport Fire burn scar on Wednesday night, March 12, as heavy rains pounded the region, increasing the possibility of debris flows and mudslides. The National Weather Service also issued a flood watch for the area. This video, taken on Thursday, shows damage from the downpour on Trabuco Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon, with rocks and trees washed away.
