US: 344 Fire Continues in Miami-Dade, Road Closures Limit Florida Keys Access

The 344 fire, a massive brush fire, burned more than 26,000 acres in southern Miami-Dade County along U.S. Route 1 as of Friday, March 21. The fire forced the closure of sections of U.S. Route 1 and Card Sound Road, and created hazardous air quality in the surrounding areas.
