Canada: Major Ice Storm Leaves Thousands Without Power in Ontario 2
A major ice storm struck a large part of southern Ontario over the weekend, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without power. Schools were closed in some areas by Monday morning, March 31.
Several states of emergency were declared, including in the cities of Orillia and Peterborough, the District of Muskoka, and the Township of Oro-Medonte.
