Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Commemorate Buchas Liberation Anniversary - Bucha

A ceremony took place at the memorial on the grounds of the Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called and All Saints, attended by leaders and representatives of the parliaments of Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and the European Parliament. Also present were Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, and representatives of local authorities. The occupation of Bucha lasted 33 days, from February 27 to March 31, 2022, resulting in the deaths of 561 civilians, including 12 children. Bucha, Ukraine on March 31, 2025.
