Damascus And SDF Prisoner Swap Agreement Implemented - Syria
Syrian people and security forces gather in the location where prisoners exchange takes place between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and new Syrian government in Aleppo, Syria, on April 4, 2025. The agreements reached between the new Syrian government and the de facto autonomous administration of north-eastern Syria are being implemented one by one. As part of the agreement between the SDF and the Syrian government forces, burials and prisoner exchanges have taken place. As part of the agreement, 250 prisoners were released in the first phase.
