Mirage 2000 D RMV Operational Commissioning Ceremony - Nancy-Ochey
Mirage 2000 D RMV during the operational commissioning ceremony on April 9, 2025 at the Air Force Base 133 in Nancy-Ochey, France. The Mirage 2000 D has benefited from a number of significant upgrades since its commissioning. This mid-life refurbishment extends the operational life and enhances the capabilities of a fleet of 50 aircraft, whose final deliveries are scheduled by the end of the year. The aircraft is now be equipped with a 30 mm cannon, giving crews a close-in fire support capability for ground attack missions, a modern air-to-air weaponry, with MICA IR missiles replacing the Magic 2, a weapon system architecture enabling the integration of precision weapons, such as GBU-48 and GBU-50 laser-guided bombs and enhanced intelligence capabilities via the ASTAC electromagnetic listening pod.
