Valencia President Mompo Testifies in DANA Case - Valencia

The president of the Provincial Council of Valencia, Vicente Mompó, gives statements to the media upon his arrival to testify as a witness in the case investigating the management of the DANA, in the City of Justice of Valencia, on April 14, 2025, in Valencia, Valencian Community (Spain). Bernabé and Mompó testify three days after the only two people investigated, for the moment, in this case that investigates the homicides and injuries committed by gross negligence on October 29, when 228 people died in the province of Valencia in the floods caused by the DANA. The fact that they have been summoned as witnesses implies that they are obliged to tell the truth and must answer the questions put to them by all the lawyers of the parties present at the deposition (there are several private and popular accusations), while Pradas and Argüeso only answered their lawyers.
