Turkey: Residents Seek Safety in Public Areas After M6.2 Earthquake
A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara on Wednesday, April 23, causing buildings to shake and prompting widespread evacuations across the city.
The number of injuries from the quake has risen to more than 200, mainly caused by panic and individuals jumping from heights.
