The mayor of Alba de Tormes, Concepción Miguélez (3l), the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco (c), the bishop of Salamanca, José Luis Retana (3r), the provincial superior of the Discalced Carmelites in Spain, Francisco Sánchez Oreja (2r), and the prior of the Discalced Carmelites of Alba de Tormes and Salamanca, Miguel Angel Gonzalez (r), during the opening ceremony of public veneration of the body of St. Teresa of Jesus, in the Convent of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers, on May 11, 2025, in Alba de Tormes, Salamanca, Castilla y Leon (Spain).
