Pro-Palestinian Protest At Congress of Deputies - Madrid

The StopArmsWithIsrael Campaign and the Solidarity Network Against the Occupation of Palestine (RESCOP) have organized a rally in front of the Congress of Deputies on the occasion of the vote on the consideration of the reform of Law 53/2007 on the control of foreign trade in defense and dual-use material. This Bill, registered by the parliamentary groups Podemos and Sumar, seeks that the arms embargo to states responsible for genocide ceases to be a political decision and becomes a legal obligation. The first case on which it would be applied would be Israel. After almost a year of deadlock, this Tuesday it will be decided whether the proposal will start its parliamentary procedure.
