THE KING VISITS SWEDISH NATO SOLDIERS IN LATVIA
King Carl Gustaf is greeted by Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel, Henrik Rosdahl, during his visit to the Swedish battalion at Camp Valdemar, at the Ādaži base, outside Riga in Latvia. Camp Valdemar is Sweden's contribution to NATO's multinational brigade. As a NATO member, Sweden contributes an army unit in Latvia within the framework of NATO's composite battle groups located in eight countries in Eastern Europe.
