China: Tornado Hits Xinyi in Maoming, Sparks Fly as Power Lines Knocked Down

On Tuesday, May 20,2025, between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., the video showed a powerful tornado forming in Lixu Community, Yudu Subdistrict, Xinyi City. Dark clouds churned overhead as the twister tore across the area, with visible sparks suggesting that electrical wires had been brought down in the chaos. The swirling column of wind stirred dust and debris, while frightened voices were heard in the background as the tornado intensified.
