India: Flooding Hits Mumbai, Red Alert Issued
Mumbai was hit by heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds on Monday, May 26, disrupting suburban rail services and slowing traffic due to poor visibility. The city recorded its highest rainfall in 107 years on the first day of the monsoon, leading to widespread waterlogging across the city.
