Japan: Ten Injured After Explosion Strikes Construction Site in Tokyo
Ten people were injured after an explosion ripped through a construction site in Edogawa, eastern Tokyo, on Tuesday, May 27.
According to reports, the blast occurred when excavation machinery struck a gas cylinder buried underground.
The explosion caused damage to 38 nearby buildings, including apartments and a convenience store. The resulting fire was extinguished after four hours.
