Toyota, Daihatsu launch jointly developed compact car

TOKYO, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. and affiliate Daihatsu Motor Co. on June 7 launched a new compact car model (photo) produced through the first joint development project for the Japanese market between the two companies. Toyota's dealerships across Japan are selling the car as the Passo and Daihatsu's are selling it as the Boon. Game software makers Enix, Square agree to merge
