The 140th Naoki Prize, another prestigious literary award for seasoned writers of popular fiction, went to Arata Tendo (C), 48, for ''Itamu Hito'' (Mourners) and Kenichi Yamamoto (L), 52, for ''Rikyu ni Tazuneyo'' (Ask Rikyu).
