Protest in Alcalá de Henares Calls for Closure of Illegal Drug Center - Madrid

The National Police cordons off the Center for Emergency Reception and Referral of Immigrants (CAED) before the possible concentration to demand its closure, on July 19, 2025, in Alcala de Henares, Madrid (Spain). The rally comes in the wake of the rape suffered by a 21-year-old woman in the vicinity of CAED on May 28. In the days following the incident, two rallies were also held with the participation of ultra-right-wing groups, where Francoist chants and chants in favor of mass deportations of migrants were heard.
