Wildlife Rehabilitation Station in Qinghai - China

Two rescued vultures are seen at the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Station in Qilian Mountain National Park in northwest China's Qinghai Province, July 23, 2025. The Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Station sits at an altitude of nearly 3,000 meters at the foot of the Qilian Mountains. The station is mainly responsible for wildlife rescue, population monitoring, post-release tracking, public education, and nature-based learning. To date, the station has rescued and sheltered 211 animals across 36 species, including snow leopard, Chinese desert cat, vulture, bharal and Tibetan gazelle.
