Situation 2 Declared for Active Fire in Salvaterra do Mino - Spain

Emergency services teams work to extinguish the fire, on July 28, 2025, in Salvaterra do Miño, Pontevedra, Galicia (Spain). The Consellería do Medio Rural has decreed the 'situation 2' as a preventive measure by proximity to homes in an active forest fire in the parish of Pesqueiras, in the Pontevedra municipality of Salvaterra do Miño. The fire started at 15.45 hours this Monday, July 28, and according to initial estimates affects an area of 12 hectares. At the moment, a technician, three agents, 10 brigades, four motor-pumpers, two pas, seven airplanes and seven helicopters have been mobilized for its extinction.
