Fire in Ponteceso (A Coruna) forces residents of Balarés to evacuate and several roads to be cut off

Several neighbors keep a watchful eye on the progress of the fire in the area of Fuente de Faro de Brantuas, on August 3, 2025, in Ponteceso, A Coruna, Galicia, Spain. A forest fire that is active in the municipality of Ponteceso in A Coruna, specifically in the parish of Cospindo, has forced to evacuate the residents of the village of Balarés, next to the beach. In the village of O Couto are working excavators of the Xunta to try to create a firebreak and that the fire does not pass to a nearby area where there are houses.
