1,700 Leon Residents Evacuated Due to Zamora Fire - Spain
Road cut in the access to Pinilla de la Valdería, on August 12, 2025, in León, Castilla y León (Spain). Some 1,700 residents of several municipalities in the province of León have been evacuated after the fire in Molezuelas de la Carballeda (Zamora) reached the area. Specifically, 150 residents of San Félix de la Valdería, 100 of Pobladura de Yuso, 60 of Calzada de Valdería, 100 of Felechares, 300 of Pinilla de la Valdería, 1,000 of Castrocalbón and 500 of San Esteban de Nogales have been evacuated.
