US: Wildfire Prompts Evacuations and Power Outages in North Ogden, Utah 4
A wildfire called the Willard Peak Fire broke out on August 13 in the Willard Hills/North Ogden area, Utah, originating from a vehicle fire. The blaze has grown to more than 750 acres, threatening hundreds of nearby homes at risk.
Authorities have ordered evacuations in affected neighborhoods, and residents are urged to stay away from the fire zone. Ground crews, helicopters, and air tankers are actively fighting the fire.
The fire has also caused widespread power outages, as Rocky Mountain Power temporarily shut off lines for safety.
