Hundreds Of Migrants Try To Swim Into Ceuta On A Night Of High Migratory Pressure - Spain

A patrol boat monitors and controls the border between Spain and Morocco on August 16, 2025 in Ceuta, Spain. Hundreds of people have tried to access Ceuta after jumping into the sea from Morocco during a night of high migratory pressure. The fog this early morning has led to an increase in attempts at irregular entry after several nights of greater calm in which only one child entered last August 14.
