Larouco Fire Crosses Sil River into Lugo - Spain
Forest fire approaches Quiroga, on August 17, 2025, in Quiroga, Lugo, Galicia (Spain). The fire registered in Larouco (Ourense) "behaved in an explosive way" and passed the Sil up to 15 points, to end up entering the province of Lugo, crossing to Quiroga. The air quality in Ourense and Lugo continues to be affected by the effects of forest fires in the province, where there are still 13 unextinguished fires, 12 active and 1 stabilized, which have already burned about 50,570 hectares.
