MOVE OF KIRUNA CHURCH

KIRUNA, SWEDEN 20250818The move of Kiruna Church is being prepared on Monday 18 August 2025. The wooden church, which is 40 meters wide and weighs 672 000 kilos, is erected on a trailer with wheels. The church will be moved five kilometers to the new center of Kiruna due to the expansion of the iron ore mining.
