Spain Gripped by Violent Wildfires
The fire is advancing through the mountains in the town of Villarubín, on August 19, 2025, in Villarrubín, León, Castilla y León (Spain). The municipality of Oencia has made an appeal through social networks for the neighbors of Oencia and Villarrubín who can help in the work against the fire with machinery, with pumps or with whatever they can to prevent the burning of the villages in the area.
