Royals Visit Fire-Affected Areas In Lake Sanabria
Queen Letizia during her visit to Las Médulas Park, on August 27, 2025, in Carucedo, León, Castilla y León (Spain). The objective is to meet with affected people and authorities to know the needs of the neighbors and to show the institutional support to the emergency teams, civil protection and forest brigades that have worked in the extinction of the fires. Before the Médulas Park, the King and Queen visited the natural park of Lago de Sanabria and the Segundera and Porto mountain ranges, before continuing tomorrow, August 28, in areas of Galicia and on Friday, August 29, in Extremadura.
