Serbia: Tens of Thousands March for Early Elections After Fatal Railway Collapse
Tens of thousands of protesters marched silently in Belgrade and other Serbian towns on Monday, September 1 to commemorate the 16 people killed in a railway station roof collapse last November.
Led by high school students, the demonstrations called for early elections to oust President Aleksandar Vucic and his SNS party, citing corruption as the root cause.
