Effects of the Larouco fire, on September 11, 2025, in Ourense, Galicia (Spain). The Larouco fire, which started on August 13, 2025, is the largest fire in the history of Galicia. It ravaged approximately 30,000 hectares for 11 days out of control and affected municipalities in Ourense and also Quiroga, in Lugo.
