Fire in O Bolo affects more than 20 hectares

Several emergency services work on extinguishing the fire, in the vicinity of O Bolo, September 19, 2025, Ourense, Galicia (Spain). The Consellería do Medio Rural has reported an active forest fire in the Ourense municipality of O Bolo, which affects an area of about 20 hectares and has forced to decree Situation 2 as a preventive measure because of its proximity to houses. The fire started at midnight last night in the parish of Vilaseco and is close to the population center of Santa Cruz, so protection measures have been activated.
