Spanish Royals At The Military Parade on National Day - Madrid
King Felipe and Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia, during the solemn act of homage to the national flag and military parade for October 12, Columbus Day, at the Plaza de Canovas del Castillo in Madrid, Spain, on October 12, 2025. The events begin with the raising of the flag and are followed by a tribute to those who gave their lives for the country. Afterwards, the air and ground military parades begin. In total, 3,847 troops from the Armed Forces, the State Security Forces and Corps and other State institutions will take part in the parade, together with 229 horses, 6 dogs, 45 airplanes and 29 helicopters.
