Spain: Storm Alice Brings Heavy Rain and Flooding to Southeastern Regions
Storm Alice brought heavy rain and flooding to southeastern Spain, particularly Alicante and Murcia. Some areas received nearly 100 liters of rain per square meter in 12 hours, with up to 40 liters in just 30 minutes.
The storm, linked to a “DANA” (Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos), has prompted evacuations in Murcia and disrupted transport, including road closures, train delays, and flight cancellations.
