Aemet has forecast continued heavy showers for the Mediterranean coast and Balearic Islands, specifically warning of potential urban flooding in southern Valencia and northern Alicante.

          UK: EasyJet Flight Attempts to Land During Storm Bram

          Storm Bram swept across the UK, leaving thousands of travelers stranded on Wednesday morning, December 10. The storm's 90 mph winds have caused hundreds of flight delays and cancellations across major airports, including Manchester and Dublin. London Heathrow alone saw more than 600 inbound and outbound flights delayed and a further 32 cancelled on Tuesday, December 9. The Met Office has a series of yellow weather warnings for wind and rain that are continuing throughout Wednesday. November 16, after causing thousands of incidents over the weekend, following several days of heavy rain with accumulations exceeding 200 liters in large areas. The region of Andalusia bore the brunt of the storm, accounting for a total of 1,400 incidents. While serious incidents were largely avoided across the country, the province of Huelva experienced significant flooding on Saturday, November 15.

                    US: Storm Lashes Northern California With High Winds, Travel Disruptions

                    A powerful Pacific storm brought strong winds and heavy rain across Northern California and the Pacific Northwest on Wednesday, November 5. Gusts reached up to around 90 mph in parts of Northern California, disrupting flights at San Francisco International Airport and prompting high wind warnings across coastal and mountain areas.

                      On Wednesday, October 29, heavy rain, flash floods, and tornadoes struck Andalusia, especially Huelva and Seville. Emergency services reported over 1,300 incidents, including flooded roads, fallen trees, and trapped drivers. Huelva recorded up to 160 mm of rainfall, while Seville saw around 115 mm. Two people were injured, and a man in Gibraleón suffered a severe head injury after being struck by a falling structure. Alerts from Spain’s meteorological agency (Aemet) proved accurate, with red warnings for Huelva and orange for Seville.
