Philippines: Storm Surge Hits Coastal Area Ahead of Fung-wong Makes Landfall
This video shows storm surge hitting the coastal community of Purok Maya-Maya, Dingalan, Aurora Province on Sunday, November 9 as Super Typhoon Fung-wong approached the Philippines.
Fung-wong, known locally as Uwan, made landfall around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday in Aurora Province, with winds of around 185 km/h. Over a million people had evacuated as heavy rains and strong winds cut power across Luzon. At least four people were killed, according to reports.
