US: Roads Become Hazardous After Morning Snow Hits Across Kentucky

Early Monday morning, December 8, Kentucky roads became hazardous due to a mixture of snow and freezing rain. A Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded slightly westward and remains in effect until 1 PM, covering areas northeast of a line from Harlan to Estill County, including the I-64 and Mountain Parkway corridors. Motorists should expect slick conditions ahead of another winter system expected later this week.
