China: Malfunctioning Electric Car Spins Repeatedly in Traffic

A malfunctioning small electric vehicle spun uncontrollably in the middle of a public road in China, creating a dangerous situation for nearby drivers. The incident occurred on December 5, 2023, in Jiangsu Province. The video shows a low-speed electric car, commonly used by elderly drivers in China, suddenly losing control and repeatedly spinning in tight circles around another vehicle in the center of the roadway. Other vehicles were forced to slow down and keep their distance as the driver appeared unable to regain control. After spinning several times, the car struck the other vehicle and eventually came to a stop. No injuries were reported.
