Israeli Airstrike in Lebanon
This photo shows an explosion during an Israeli airstrike in Kfar Hatta, southern Lebanon, January 11, 2026. The Israeli forces carried out on Sunday afternoon over ten airstrikes on the village of Kfar Hatta in southern Lebanon's Litani River area, Lebanon's official National News Agency (NNA) reported. Israel on Sunday launched wide-scale airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, including the towns of Jbaa and Jezzine. There were no immediate reports of casualties. The Israeli army has carried out frequent strikes in Lebanon, claiming they are aimed at removing Hezbollah "threats," despite a U.S.- and French-brokered ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel that has been in effect since Nov. 27, 2024.
