France: Tractors March Through Paris in Farmers’ Protest Over EU-Mercosur Trade Deal

French farmers brought tractors into central Paris and and blocked roads across the country on Thursday, January 8, to protest a proposed EU-Mercosur trade deal, gathering in front of the National Assembly under heavy police watch.
