The river water contained unmelted snow and felt extremely cold. According to the description, the pair accidentally slipped into the water during their outing. The icy conditions made the situation dangerous and difficult. A group of nearby people quickly stepped in to help. Spain: High Winds Lash Barcelona Area as Storm Nils Arrives
