US: Fire Breaks Out at Historic Maccabees Building on Wayne State Campus in Detroit

An electrical fire broke out on the 11th floor of the historic Maccabees Building on Wayne State University's campus in Detroit, Michigan on Wednesday afternoon, April 1. The fire was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported. The nearly 100-year-old building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, remains closed as damage is assessed.
