Japan's Diet building lit up

TOKYO, Japan - Japan's Diet building in central Tokyo is lit up on a trial basis on Jan. 22, 2014. The lighting up of the 65-meter building, which started in 1990 to mark the 100th anniversary of the setup of the parliament in Japan, was suspended following the 2011 huge earthquake to save energy. The ruling and opposition parties agreed to resume the lighting up of the building from Jan. 24.
