N. Korean acrobatic troupe arrives in Seoul

SEOUL, South Korea - A North Korean acrobatic troupe arrives in Seoul on May 29 for a two-week visit to stage a series of performances. The 102-member Pyongyang Acrobatic Art Troupe arrived at Seoul's Kimpo international airport via Beijing at 3:18 p.m. The acrobatic troupe will stage 13 performances between June 3-10 as part of events to be staged in connection with the June 12-14 summit in Pyongyang between South Korean President Kim Dae Jung and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

NAHA, Japan - A 102-member team of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (ASDF) is being sent to Indonesia on a mission to provide humanitarian support to East Timorese refugees stranded in West Timor. Photo shows the team arriving in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, on three C130 transport planes in the afternoon of Nov. 24. They will arrive in Surabaya on Nov. 25 after refueling in Manila.
