The observation platform will provide data services for China's marine climate evolution research, marine disaster warning and forecasting, national marine rights and interests protection, and marine economic development, etc. The main structure of the observation platform includes a jacket, block, and observation tower, with a total design weight of 4,530 tons. The vessel is built by CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. With a deadweight of over 10,000 tonnes, the barge is 103 meters long and 28.5 meters wide. It's ordered by Denmark and is scheduled to be delivered in August this year. The main construction work including interior decoration and mooring test will follow its launch soon. The torii,Taiyuin Shrine,Nikko

This is the stone torii gate dedicated by Kuroda Nagamasa at the front gate (Niomon) to Toshogu Shrine in Nikko. It is nine meters tall, and the pillars are 1.2 metres in diameter. This is the largest granite torii gate in Japan. Hozu River

Rock formations seen from a boat going down Hozu River. Greenery and small flowers grow between the rocks. Huge boulders lie along both sides of the river. Hozu Gorge, also called Arashi Gorge, is a 13km stretch from around Hozu Bridge in Kameoka to Togetsu Bridge at Arashiyama. This is a scenic point where rapids and unusual rock formations can be enjoyed.
